Make choices that work for you.

“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” - Confucius
Life seems like it’s always been complicated. We grow from young adults with a tangle of emotions and ever-evolving relationships to parents with profound responsibilities. What we didn’t know when we were young but can learn now is that, because life is made up of choices, we can choose to live more simply. It is up to us to determine what to allow in our lives and how to respond to life itself.
We can choose to seek happiness without relying on others to provide it for us. We can choose to shrug off the weight of self-imposed obligations. We can—and should—choose to live with purpose. Simplicity, like all of these things, is a choice. Life is only as complicated as we choose to make it.
